GBlist: compost co-generator

Further to the useful message from Glenville Sawyer (THANK YOU) below,
are there any articles, recollections, anecdotes or reports on using an
optimized compost pile to generate both hot water and electricity, while
producing garden fertilizer? Large amounts are not needed. Anyone else want
to try this out this summer?

IF ANYONE IS CONNECTED TO THE SOLAR OR ALTERNATIVE ENERGY NEWSGROUPS, COULD
YOU PLEASE FORWARD THIS NOTE TO THEM TO RESPOND TO MY E-MAIL ADDRESS?
Your assistance would be appreciated.
