GBlist: Re: heat pumps




Which manufacturer makes the most efficient ground/water coupled HP that
can be operated from photovoltaics.I expect a COP of at least 4.5
(heating) for a liquid-to-liquid system, but am really interested in small 
units (design heat loss = 30,000 Btu/hr @ -24 dF) with COP of 12 (like
Dennis Lee's HP) and environmentally-sound phase change mediums.
