There is a pile of very good information about growing and saving seed in 
the form of online, downloadable publications at the website of the ORGANIC 
SEED ALLIANCE (formerly Abundant Life Seed Foundation) at 
www.seedalliance.org
click on the "Publications" selection and check out the manuals.  There are 
also links to other helpful sites there too.
