A sample of seven groups of Baptist leaders in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Honduras was studied to determine what information resources they used for both general and theological information and the patterns formed by that use. Data were gathered by means of a self-administered mail questionnaire sent to 606 persons, of which 56.7 percent responded. The questionnaire asked about use of print and non-print mass media, libraries, and interpersonal resources for information. Leadership responsibility, reading ability, participation in distance education, and demographic and socio-economic factors were related to the use of information resources. Data were analyzed using a SAS program. |
