Dickcissel down on the farm

A group of us pulled up on Dairyland Rd just to see what was around when
I heard the dulcet tones of the Dickcissel; singing at the top of his
lungs directly over the lead car. Birding made easy! He was loudly
proclaiming territory when he would suddenly be joined by the female and
they would fly off to some grassy spot not far from the road. In a
matter of time, he would be back on the wire, singing. The bird is now
on the same side of the road as the Anilorac farm, singing from the
wires at the crest of the hill past the small stream. Seems that nature
is doing just fine, thank you.
