Hilton Pond 07/01/01 (Huntington Beach)

HI . . .

To be honest, there's not as much to report from Hilton Pond Center
for Piedmont Natural History for the first week in July--we actually
took an extended field trip and family vacation to the South Carolina
coast!

However, for the sake of continuity, "This Week at Hilton Pond" for
the week of 1-7 July 2001 does include info about one of our
destinations--Huntington Beach State Park, in our opinion one of the
finest birding spots on the East Coast. The direct link is at
http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek010701.html.

Despite our absence from the Piedmont, we did band one bird at
Hilton Pond Center as we were loading the van for departure. :-)
