Saturday morning Janet an I saw a single Pine Siskin in a flock of
Goldfinches along the Little River.
Sat. evening the birds were stoking up in preparation for the freeze. We
saw our first brown headed nuthatch at the feeders, and a golden crowned
kinglet in the woods. A flock of 75-100 chipping sparrows were feeding in
my weed patch (a.k. a garden).
Sunday morning, we saw our first song sparrows and swamp sparrows.
