I think the bluebird houses made by Jack Finch, mentioned in a couple of the
messages, are about as good as you can buy anywhere. I have one that's been
used over and over, for the last 13 years, and it's almost like new. I
bought another at Wild Bird World in Greenville last year. There is a metal
"ring" protecting the entrance hole against gnawing and enlarging by other
animals and birds. The front swings open for easy cleaning. There is a
metal back bracket for mounting. I highly recommend them.
