Hi Carolinabirders,
Today I birded solo at Huntington Beach S.P. , Murrells Inlet,
Georgetown County, SC. Only 28 species from the jetty, and jetty pond
and north end of Sandpiper Pond. Not bad for leaving your binoculars on
the couch at home. Sunny, cool (about mid 50's), and a bit windy. Kept
my eyes open for anything resembling a Redshank.
No luck.
Red-throated Loon-2
Common Loon-5
Horned Grebe-18 about as many as I can ever recall there. 13 in the
ocean south of the jetty and 5 more in the inlet.
