Hello y'all,
The firstest, most beautimous little Ruby-throated rascal showed up at
my feeders early this a.m. After sampling two of 'em (and dodging a House
Finch,) he did a victory lap around the front yard and headed to the thicket
just down the road. Like the first RTHU has done for the past 4 springs
here.
I hope to shake his tiny feathered hand very soon, and gift him with a
special piece of adornment. ;-)
To borrow from Mr. Carroll, "'Oh frabjous day! Callooh, callay!' He
chortled in his joy."
Woohoo!
;-)
