Beaver Lake - new bird

We had a new bird this morning for the Beaver Lake list. A Black Billed
Cookoo sat and called for us and then it (or another one) flew to a bag worm
nest and proceeded to show us how it is done. It was a lifer for Lori and
several other people out for morning birding.

We also flushed 3 wrens with very short tails but the rest of their bodies
were freshly fleged Carolina Wrens. The adults showed up and told us to
leave. It seems early to have then this old already up here in the
mountains.

We also had
Orchard Oriole
Brown-headed Nuthatches in a nesting mood
Wood Duck (male)
Osprey
Palm Warbler
E. Kingbird - nesting
Gnatcatchers - nesting
Baltimore Oriole (reported by another group)
Yellow Warbler
Spotted Sandpiper

and about 30 other birds.
