Folks,
I have always felt that the virtues of water have been overstated, since
my dripper and birdbath setup doesn't get very much activity. I am very
aware of how important water is to life, however, at my house, this rule
never seemed to apply.
This evening, in a 30 minute period I had 4 species of Thrush. First I
had a Hermit, followed closely by a Swainson's. A few minutes later, a
Veery showed up along with 2 Wood Thrush. At one point the Veery and Wood
Thrush were bathing at the same time, on 2 different levels of the birdbath.
Regards,
Wayne
