HBSP on 5-28



Hi Carolinabirders,
Today, Paul Rogers and I went to Huntington Beach State Park, Murrells
Inlet, Georgetown County, SC. We birded from 10 AM till about 3PM
covering the jetty ponds, Kerrigan Trail and overlook, and a bit of the
Carriage path.43 species.

Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron-3 going in and out of Sandpiper Pond
Tricolored Heron-1
Green Heron-5
White Ibis-30
Glossy Ibis-1
Turkey Vulture
Osprey
Black-bellied Plover-4
Wilson's Plover-1
Semipalmated Plover-50
Am. Oystercatcher-3
Willet-1
Ruddy Turnstone-9

Semipalmated Sandpiper-86
Laughing Gull
Ring-billed Gull
Royal Tern-26
Forster's Tern-4
Least Tern-35
Chuck-Will's-Widow-1 resting on the dunes and gave us good looks, buffy
throat, yellowish bill.

Education Center
 Rufous-sided Towhee-heard only

House Finch-4 feeding on sea oats.
