Hilton Pond 05/22/02 (Daisy Fleabane)

HI . . .

"This Week at Hilton Pond" for the long "week" of 22-31 May 2002
includes a photo essay on Daisy Fleabane--a miniature imitator of
Ox-eye Daisy that occurs in many U.S. locales.

Just click on http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek020522.html and
you'll learn how Daisy Fleabane got its name and see that it is often
host to a complement of tiny critters.

There's also the usual list of banded and recaptured birds--including
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds--plus a mug shot of a Chimney Swift.

Please forward this message to folks you know who share our interest
in nature. :-)

Happy Spring, and Happy Nature Watching!
