Came in the other day to find a female hummingbird furiously trying to fly
through our big bay window from the inside out! She had apparently flew INTO
the house through our open kitchen door.
We very very carefully put a Tupperware bowl over her, and gently carried
her out to the deck- where she lay panting for a few minutes before flying
off. She returned quite a few times for a snack at our feeder soon after, no
doubt thirsty after her harrowing ordeal.
