Hilton Pond 04/15/03 (Wisteria Problems)

It may look good, and it may smell good, but it acts bad. Chinese Wisteria, that is, and we wish we didn't have any at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History.

This invasive plant is the topic of the 15-21 April 2003 installment of "This Week at Hilton Pond." To view the current photo essay, please visit http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek030415.html.

As always there's a tally of birds banded, as well as a list of recaptures--including a "long-lost" female Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

Happy Nature Watching,

BILL
