This morning I found an Eurasian Collared-Dove in Newton, NC. It was on a
power line on Hwy. Bus. 321 just south of the Harris-Teeter. This is about
7-8 miles from the colony in Conover. This now only leaves 3 cities in
Catawba County that have not had a Collared-Dove sighting. There have been
sightings in Conover, Claremont, Hickory, Longview, and now Newton. Anyone
in Maiden, Brookford and Catawba keep your eyes open.
