For those in the Sandhills who may be interested, two adult Bald Eagles and
an immature bird are being seen regularly at the McKinney Lake Fish
Hatchery near Hoffman.
The immature, which is probably a first year bird, has a radio transmitter
strapped to its back. If anyone knows who is radio tracking Bald Eagles,
please let me know.
A bit late, but to add to the Red-breasted Nuthatch sightings, I had one at
Raven Rock State Park on October 15.
