Hello y'all,
Watched and listened as 4 Fish Crows harrassed a Red-tailed Hawk today
near the intersection of Hwys 905 and 9 in northern Horry cty. After a
minute or so, a Red-shouldered Hawk joined in the fun, circling and
calling from just above the tree tops.
Later, saw one of Mr. Cooper's Hawks glide across a country road into a
wooded area with a feathered meal in its talons. Its catch appeared to
be a Titmouse.
Counted 4 Red-tails along a 6 mi. stretch of Hwy 905, all perched on
power lines.
Must be fall.
Cheers,
GP
