Arriving at the park this morning, I had just finished birding the causeway
when Phil Turner arrived. He said that he was going to look for a Winter
Wren. Naturally I volunteered to help. We worked the power line to the right
of the exit road and found our bird at the brush pile across the right of
way. We then went to Sandpiper Pond. There we found 8 species of ducks. I
then went on to the jetty and later finished up at the Marsh Boardwalk. I
had over 60 species of the day, and found my target bird of Great Cormorant
sitting next to a Double-crested for a great comparison. A list of birds
