GOLDEN EAGLE at Alligator River NWR

Birders,
John And Paula Wright found an immature Golden Eagle at the Alligator
River NWR maintenance area near Milltail Creek in Dare Co., NC this
afternoon (Sunday 16 Jan 00). This is the same area where the
Rough-legged Hawk has been seen
off and on (although they did not see it this afternoon). THey also did
NOT see the White-tailed Kite reported earlier.
