Durham Sewage Treatment Ponds

Hi, I stopped by the Durham Sewage Ponds on NC 55 today during my lunch
hour. Not a ton of variety, but one or two relatively nice finds - a
COMMON SNIPE foraging along the Northern edge of the front pond and an
AMERICAN PIPIT feeding out on the mudflats. Also had a few WESTERN
SANDPIPERS amongst the usual Killdeer...

This is a nice spot for RTP-dwellers looking to do some quick birding
during lunchtime.

Happy Birding!

-Sandy
