Hi C-birders,
Pasted below is a notice about a scholarship available for a young birder
to go to a Victor Emanuel birding camp. Wish they'd had that when I was
that age!
In local news, after months of whining about it, I *finally* had a
Red-breasted Nuthatch visit my feeders this morning! Also a Fox Sparrow
and at least one Purple Finch amidst the more common fare. I had a pair
of Hairy Woodpeckers a couple of days ago feeding around the yard, but
for some reason they are ignoring the feeders. The Hairies in
Massachusetts seemed like much bigger suet fans than their conspecifics
around here...
Good birding,
Josh
