Saturday 26 February 2000:
I guess they can be anywhere!
3 LeConte's Sparrows in eastern Richland County near the SCE&G Wateree
Station off highway 601, and one LeConte's in the broomsedge behind the
church camp on Bluff Road (toward the eastern end of Bluff Road, but a few
miles before it intersects with 601.) This last bird perched so long I got
tired of looking at it and left, with it still sitting in the bottom of a
tiny pine sapling.
Also had 3 Pine Siskins fly over Sax Gotha drive, the edge of Lexington Co,
near the Congaree River.
