Yellow rumps and kinglets invade Ritter Park

My lunch began just about the time the rain stopped for a bit here in Cary. I
figured the rainshower might have convinced a few migrating friends to sit down
relax a while until conditions improve. While I cannot say for sure that the
rain caused the event, I can confirm that Ritter Park was overrun with
Yellow-rumped Warblers. At least 6 in every tree. Well not quite that many,
but probably hundreds nonetheless. All this compared to the 2 I saw this AM.
Also present in goodly numbers were Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The RC's were not
too difficult to find this AM, but there were bunches this afternoon. Stokes
doesn't call the "rump" the most adundant migrating warbler for nothing!
