scarlet tanagers, r-b grosebeaks, and indigo buntings

To Cbirders,
These nesters have made it back to Waynesville, NC. A short walk around a
friend's house this morning [29th] allowed us to get a spotting scope on
all three of these species. Also got good views of blk-throated blue,
blk-throated green, yellow-rumped, blk & white, and chestnut-sided
warblers. Not so good views of ovenbird and worm-eating warbler. Also, good
look at wood thrush. Heard several hooded warblers and one Kentucky.

As of Wed. [26th] the loons were still on Lake Junaluska. A Forster's tern
[breeding plumage] and a Bonaparte's gull [winter plumage] were also
present.

Another stop in Waynesville, on the 26th, turned up a Cape May warbler.
Heard it well but only got a brief glimpse of it in flight.
