Jeff Lewis wanted me to post the following observations. Jeff went to Bodie
Island looking for the birds Ricky Davis had seen on Monday the 29th. Jeff
didn't find any of those birds but he did find:
Scarlet Tanager
Swainson's Thrush
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak
Blackpoll Warbler
On Tuesday the 30th of May, Jeff and I saw a Red-necked Phalarope at the north
end of South Pond on Pea Island. No sign of the Roseate Spoonbill since Monday
morning.
