28 August, more Rough-wings than ever seen at Halifax Sewage Pond, 40 mostly
just sitting on cables, as RJD asked about.
4 September, 100 Bobolinks in several small flocks going south about 9AM,
Darlington, NC (central Halifax County).
Plus an Eastern Kingbird headed south after perching a while.
2-3 White-eyed Vireos (as all years) singing here for about two weeks.
Bluebird flock here bigger than ever (latest nesting fledged last
week)---30-40 birds.
