Samworth W.M.A. Georgetown Cty, SC on 9-11.



	
Hi Carolinabirders,
	Today from 9AM to 1:30 PM I birded and looked for butterflies at Samworth
W.M.A. in Georgetown Cty, SC.  I was hoping for migrant landbirds but
didn't really have much luck. 29 species.

Turkey Vulture-2
Red-shouldered Hawk-2 one being mobbed by Crows.
Solitary Sandpiper-2 in wet furrows of the fields.
Mourning Dove-2
Red-headed Woodpecker-1 heard only
Red-bellied Woodpecker-2 
Downy Woodpecker-3
Acadian Flycathcer-1 no vocaliztion but a good look at this empid which had
a greenish back and side of face.
Great Crested Flycatcher-2
Tree Swallow-1
Blue Jay-7
Am. Crow-5
Carolina Chickadee-5
Tufted Titmouse-10
White-breasted Nuthatch-2
Carolina Wren-8
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher-5
E. Bluebird-4
N. Mockingbird-2
White-eyed Vireo-3
Red-eyed Vireo-21 these were certainly migrants
N. Parula-1 male
Yellow-throated Warbler-3
Pine Warbler-2 heard singing only
Common Yellowthroat-2 one male and one female
Summer Tanager-1 female plumaged
N. Cardinal-12
E. Towhee-2
Common Grackle-4
