HBSP on 11-11

Hi y'all,
A few hardy Waccamaw Audubon members made a field trip to the jetty area
at Huntington Beach yesterday morning, with a brief look into Sandpiper

hunkered down; there were several hundred shorebirds (primarily Dunlin)
around the jetty pond. Here's the list:

N. Gannet - 2 close to shore, more farther out
Brown Pelican - 12

of a cpl of dunes out of the wind
Piping Plover - 2 one was apparently same banded bird seen by Jack and I
Tuesday.
Willet - 10
Ruddy Turnstone - 15
Sanderling - 6
Western Sandpiper - many
Purple Sandpiper - 2
Dunlin - very numerous
S-b Dowitcher - many
