This morning (Sunday) I walked all the trails at Chimney Rock Park and
was able to get great looks at 10 species of warblers. Strong winds
made for less than perfect conditions. Worm-eating, Black-throated
Green, and Hooded warblers were everywhere. I also have one very
cooperative singing Cerulean. No Swainson's were seen or heard. Others
seen included Chesnut-sided, Yellow-rumped, Black-and-White, Palm, and
Ameican Redstart.
