An incredible morning of birds here in Redbud. Started with a band of yellow
rumps flitting around the water garden. Then came a black and white warbler,
a couple of Parulas, a white-breasted nuthatch, a bluebird, a female summer
tanager, and a male black-throated blue. On the back deck were four (3 male,
1 female) rose-breasted grosbeaks at the platform feeder, a couple of
goldfinches and, in the oak tree just off the deck, a pair of scarlet
tanagers. All this in a span of about 20 minutes while sipping the morning
coffee!
