Hi folks,
2 1/2 hours at Brickhouse Road was quite productive yesterday, with
good numbers of tree, RW and barn swallows at the depot, and we
flushed a pair of bobwhite. Also a turkey trotted down the path ahead
of us as we neared the lake. Good views of orchard orioles, common
YThroats and lots of indigos and chats, but NO E kingbirds! I really
wanted to show Trudy (my fiancee) these, but alas we'll have to go
again.
Q: has anyone seen kites at Falls Lake this year? If so, where, if
not, where are the most likely spots for them?
