Dwayne and I will be leading a birdwalk for South Mountains State Park as
part of their summer interpretive programs this coming Saturday (May 26).
We'll meet at the park headquarters at 8:00am and plan to spend a couple
hours looking and listening for the birdlife there. We should see (or at
least hear!) a good variety of warblers including Black-throated Green,
Parula, Black-and-white, Hooded, Ovenbird, Worm-eating and L. Waterthrush.
This program is free and open to the public, so we hope to see some of you
there!
Lori
