Just when I thought there were no breeding shrikes around, I saw a
pair of adult L. Shrikes beside the WalMart parking lot in Greenville,
NC. They were on the fence of the power station between Arbys and
PayLess Shoes. Silly me! I had been looking in places like the ECU
West Research Campus (former Voice of America site A), the airport and
the power lines along the fields in Pitt County. I should have known to
look for more what??? Asphalt??? Congestion???
