HI . . .
I just took a short pleasure walk at Litchfield Beach, South
Carolina, and was surprised to see a first-year Laughing Gull with a
red color band on its right leg. I didn't have binoculars with me, so
I didn't get a good look at other possible bands, but the red was
unmistakable.
Anyone aware of a gull-banding project in the area?
Cheers,
BILL
