A reference was made to orioles at Manteo, well they are also showing up at
Jackson Park in Hendersonville, NC. Birds that I was most impressed with
were Northern Waterthrush, but Wayne Forsythe and Ron Selvey came up with
Golden-winged Warblers and Blue-winged Warblers.
Ron also said he saw two Blue-winged Teal and a Pied-billed Grebe in a small
pond near the tennis courts.
I am looking forward to the weekend when we are supposed to be getting a
cold front come in.
