Caesar's Head Hawk Count??

Hawk counters generally admit that in pursuing their hobby a 2-didgit IQ is
helpful. Today it was absolutely essential. I gave up about 1:30 and Chuck
Nelson was still hanging on, but the maximum visibility to that time had
been about
50 ft.
We did have a couple of mixed flocks of passerines, including:
Tennessee Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, Blackburnian, Parula,
Black-throated Green and Red-eyed and Blue-headed Vireo. Also a Grosbeak sp.
that was probably an immature Rose-breasted. (fog was so thick only the
shape could be made out).
If past years are a guide, the next five or so days should bring lots of
Broad-wings.
