migrants, BroadRiver WMA, Fairfield Co., SC



A perfect breezy autumn day in the SC piedmont produced the following
migrants:

Merlin 1
N. Harrier 1
Osprey 1
Cooper's Hawk 1 im
Sharp-shinned Hawk 2 im
Red-tailed Hawk 2
   small numbers of both vultures
   good numbers of Flickers and Blue Jays apparently on the move as well
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2
House Wren 2
Gray Catbirds 8+
Wood Thrush 2
Philadelphia Vireo 2 (? am I the only one seeing more of these the past few
fall migrations?)
Red-eyed Vireo 3+
Am. Redstart 4
Black-and-whited Warbler 2
Magnolia Warbler 10+
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1
Black-throated Green Warbler 2
N. Parula 2
Tennessee Warbler 2
Nashville Warbler 1 (very close & cooperative individual)
Prairie Warbler 1
Palm Warbler 12+
Pine Warbler 6+
Hooded Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat 8+
Indigo Bunting 75+
Blue Grosbeak 3
Field Sparrow 8
Swamp Sparrow 4
