Karen and all,
I spoke with Inge Parker tonight at 6:45PM, and she hasn't seen the
Hummer since about 9:15AM today, Friday. I plan on calling her tomorrow AM,
and checking again. She did call her neighbors with feeders, plants,.. and
no one has seen it. Since it's somewhat warm and buggy, maybe he's just
taking a tour of the New Bern area and will return to her yard at some point,
since it sure sounds like an ideal spot for him.

Bern but, I feel guilty about wasting so much gas for one beautiful
bird. We're not planning another trip to AZ for awhile though, so it's
very tempting to see him! Can anyone suggest places to bird along the
way or in New Bern, so we can make it a day of birding? We would drive
US 70 from Raleigh.
