A female SHINY COWBIRD was seen at Huntington Beach State Park in SC on

around the south parking area near the park store.

An AM. WHITE PELICAN was at Huntington Beach State Park on 10- 20. It was
seen around the jetties at the north end of the park but could be found

EURASIAN WIGEONS occur at Pea I. NWR in NC every year. On 10-22 a male was
found at North Pond. While there, be sure to check any small sparrows found.
A couple of CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS have been seen recently.

At Jacksonville, NC ; 2-7 EARED GREBES have been seen at the wastewater
treatment plant. Call Jim O'Donnell for information on how to access the
facility. He can be reached at 910-347-5481.

An adult GOLDEN EAGLE was seen in western NC around Graveyard Fields on

mountains. A few may even spend the winter around the Shining Rock Wilderness
Area.

Thanks this week to Jack Peachey, Jeff Lewis, and Scott Stegenga for their
