Wake Audubon Calendar



You're invited to join Wake Audubon in the following activities:

Monthly Meeting:
December 11, 7:30 PM - "The Role of Key Plants in Natural Communities" - Some
plants appear to be vital to the proper functioning of natural communities.  Dr.
Tom Wentworth, Professor of Botany at NCSU, tells us why.  The meeting is held
in the NC Museum of Natural Science, 11 W. Jones Street.  Contact Lena,

Field Trip:
December 15 - Christmas Bird Count. For an assignment in the count area, contact

Bagels & Birding:
December 1 and January 5, 8:30 AM - Informal birding on the Buckeye Greenway
Trail.  Meet at
the parking lot on Crabtree Boulevard at Raleigh Boulevard.  Contact Halbert,

Anderson Point Avian Adventures:
December 1, 8:30 AM - Informal birding at Anderson Point Park.  Meet at the
Park, located on Roger's Lane off of Hwy. 64 East just before the Neuse River.
