Hello y'all,
I left home for work a few minutes early and stopped by fellow Waccamaw
Audubon Society member Beth Wiley's home at Pawleys Island, SC this morning
to band an immature male Rufous Hummingbird. At last, one of the faithful
that has heard (and read) "keep a feeder up" more times than they care to
remember has been justly rewarded.
He was such a cooperative little guy, my c-store coffee didn't even get
cold.
It's hard to have a bad day when you see a hummingbird first thing in
the morning, y'all!
Wooho!
;-)
