In the yard this morning, one busy Ruby-throated Hummingbird and
two wing-flicking Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Weird. And, yet, nothing's
really wrong with this picture. Don't we always get a few of these odd
combinations of summer and winter residents crossing paths at this
time of year? And don't we love them! The weirder the better -- bring 'em
on!
