More Lincoln's Sparrows on Alligator

Hi folks,
Went out to the Alligator Refuge (Dare County) Weds.
a.m. before work; found three Lincoln's Sparrows. If
you set your odometer to zero at the begining of
Milltail Road (at hwy 64) the first was at 1.0 miles.
The second was at 1.5 miles (just past a big patch of
honeysuckle). The third Lincoln's was just after you
turn left on Long Curve Road at 2.3miles (or .1 if you
reset). This bird was being chased by a Swamp Sparrow
and actually perched out in an open 15 feet high in a
tree! Also had Juncos, White-throated, Swamp, Song,
Savannah and one Field Sparrow (they are actually
fairly hard to come by out there - go figure). Also
saw one Red Wolf crossing Long Curve Road. No sign of
any Rough-legged Hawks yet, although it's hard to look
up when you're looking down!
Cheers,
Jeff Lewis
