Wild Turkey

I almost ran over a Wild Turkey Gobbler this morning. This was on Hamlin
Road just off of Old Oxford highway in Durham County. I had to step hard on
the brakes and said to myself, Fly, Please Fly! Fly! and it did just in
the nick of time. Some of you may remember in January I almost ran over a
Ring neck Pheasant. I hope this is the last of the "chicken" birds.

On another note I saw an early Broadwing Hawk Monday last week off Hamlin
Road.
I had a Brown Headed Nuthatch feeding at my suet last weekend. This is the
first time I have witnessed this.
