Went for a brief walk this morning in the New Hope Creek swamps
along Stagecoach Road (southern Durham County). BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHERS were fairly numerous and noisy (like always).
Heard one each, both singing, of YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER
and NORTHERN PARULA. Nothing else of note.
In the same area on Sunday, I found a nice group of five or six very
handsome FOX SPARROWS.
Good birding,
-Sandy
