I suppose that the answer to this question is to ultimately be decided by
Will Cook. In my opinion, wisdom would suggest that if birders should also
be bird conservationists then YES ethical debates and political discussions
would be in the best interest of subscribers. As to whether or not
subscribers can display the maturity, respect for others, and
open-mindedness to engage in such discussions is an altogether different
question. Some peaople can't intelligently debate or discuss anything unless
others involved in the conversation totally and always agree with their
viewpoint.
