Myrtle Beach S.P. Birding



Hey Carolina Birders,

I birded Myrtle Beach State Park today for about ninety minutes before the
rain drove me out.  Even so, a total of 48 species were seen and/or heard.
Firsts of the year for me were Hooded and Worm-eating Warblers as well as
Red-eyed Vireos.  (Gary, I only read your posts so that I know what I can
expect to find the next day!)  A total of nine warblers were found
including:

Ovenbird (2)
Northern Parula (8)
Hooded Warbler (5)
Pine Warbler (3)
Prairie Warbler (6)
Worm-eating Warbler (3)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (still several)
Yellow-throated Warbler (4)
Common Yellowthroat (2)
