In western Polk Co. today (south side of Green River):
Heard our first Scarlet Tanager of the year.
Also 10 warblers:
Yellow-throated
Common yellowthroat
N. Parula
Worm-eating
Pine
Black-throated green
Yellow-rumped
La. Waterthrush
Hooded
Black-and-white
Also a male harrier and a pair of broad-wings.
A black-throated blue warbler was heard by a co-worker yesterday at Grandfather Mtn. (Avery County)
